HISTORY
In 1900 the baroness Jeanne Léonino de Rothschild began the construction of the Chateau de Montvillargenne, near the castle of her mother. In order to honor their family names, Jeanne had carved the Léonino coat of arms, still visible today, along with that of the Rothschilds, which has since disappeared.
