Welcome to Baronville
Only an hour away from Paris, the Baronville Estate welcomes you exclusively for high-end, special occasions in a warm family atmosphere: your wedding or film-shoot, as well as corporate events, conferences, product launches or photo shoots.

From the Roman Empire to the Counts of Rougé
Inhabited since the Roman-Gallic era, Baronville was first a stronghold designed to protect the Voise Valley.

In 1623, the Montescot family built the original chateau. This passed into the hands of the Lattaignant family through marriage; the fiefdom of Baronville was then acquired in 1783 by the Marquis of Aligre, who was the President of the Parisian parliament.

In 1868, the great grandson of the Marquis, the Marquis de Pomereu d’Aligre, destroyed the original chateau, and built the current one, which was required for social occasions during the Second Empire.

The Champagne Comte de Rougé® was selected by Count Aymeric de Rougé, to delight your palate and accompany the great moments of your life. It is prepared with authenticity and respect for tradition, in a family estate the heart of Champagne Region, France, in the Monts de Reims.

The vine is cultivated with careful attention, without insecticide, and we progressively allow the grass to grow between the vines to best preserve our environment. The grapes are hand-picked, to select the best ones, vinified and then pressed with the most modern techniques to extract the best part of the juice. After bottling, our wines undergo the fermentation process, giving birth to its effervescence. The last stage is to let it age in cellars for many months.
