The Castello
Castello di Valenzano is located in a beautiful valley rich of castles, monasteries and Romanesque parish churches, at an altitude of about 500 metres above sea level. With its thousand-years of history (the first settlement was born as a watch-tower during the late period of Lombard Kingdom - Regnum Langobardorum - between the end of 9th Century and the beginning of 10th Century), the castle now houses a stylish Restaurant and a comfortable Residenza d’Epoca (Historical Residence).
The Restaurant
The living heart of the castle is our Restaurant, with its distinctive cookery that has its roots in the history all around it, but that has been renewed and brightened up by Chef Simone Brodoloni; every month, he chooses recipes of his own creation and re-inventions of local dishes of traditional cookery. We offer Tuscan specialties, with home-made pastas, vegetables cultivated on the spot, certified quality meat, and the purest water that pours out of an ancient spring.In summertime, eating under the portico or on the terrace is especially agreeable.

After having tasted the delicious food of our Restaurant and enjoyed the beauty of the castle, you can spend your time in the rooms of ancient charm, plunged in a fairy-tale environment where you can savour the atmosphere of the past and relax in the big tree-lined park, enjoying the silence and the gorgeous view of Pratomagno Mountains.
