THE HISTORY
The Castle of San Nicola was built in the fourteenth century, around the pre-existing watchtower of the Norman era.
Like all the castles of the Sicilian coast, it too had the purpose of protecting that part of the sea from the aggressions of the Turkish and Saracen pirates who, in those times, had targeted the richest fishing beaches in Sicily.
THE EVENTS
The ampleness and the particularity of the various available spaces, such as the garden, the terraces and the courtyards, as well as the internal room obtained in the "tonnara" camperia, allow a variety of solutions to organize every type of event, even for a large number of guests.
