Amber Fort Jaipur 

HISTORY
As Sikander Lodi king of Delhi in 1503 AD. was Maharaja Prithviraj Singh Ji was the ruler of Amber (capital) before Jaipur was built. One of his descendants in 1568 n. Chr. Thakur Manohardas Ji, the then Prime Minister of Bernstein was one of the greatest warriors in Rajput history and ruled the territories of Chaumoo, Samode and Mohanna. 

 Thakur Sahib along with Maharaja Man Singh Ji won from Jaipur victory in 22 battles, including the Battle of Kandhar in Afghanistan, where he defeated the army brave and snatch their flags to the king, in return Thakur Sahib got the original flag of Bernstein and a large fortune of wealth.

 Ranjit Singhji was followed in 1783 on Ratan Singhji and his son Kishan Singhji came in 1799 to the throne, was because in 1830 Thakur Laxman Singhji who did a lot for the state and Gobind Singh ji took out Ajeyrajpura to follow him in 1863 he had no male issue.

 1889 Thakur Gobind Singhji received the title of "Rao Bahadur 'by the British Govt. Coln. Walter the AGG said that the award of the title of Rao Bahadur was to express their appreciation for his outstanding service and loyalty as a member of the Council. The resources of the state were largely developed under him and he was appointed a member of the Council.

 

1900 - UNTIL NOW
Thakur Devi Singhji followed Gobindji, who had 13 offspring. His eldest son Sangram Singhji was adapted to Samode and his second son Raj Singhji followed the Chaumoo state.

   

He had his daughter Shakuntala Kumari left, who was married to Rao Surendra Pal Singh ji chief of Umergarh State. Shakuntala Kumari has only two daughters Jayendra Kumari and Chetna Kumari. Thakur Raj Singh Ji, the former ruler of Chomu. "The Raj Palace is named after him, which is a beautiful heritage hotel in the heart of the city of Jaipur today"

SWAPNA MAHAL
Formal receptions remained the focal activity of court life during the British period. Thus, the Thakur Sahib made the Swapna Mahal, by imitating the great houses of the British and French nobility. This hall is fully equipped with European furniture, chandeliers, mirrors, curtains and Crockery. The Swapna Mahal is the palace of dreams. The double height ceiling has breathtaking majestic crystal chandeliers and panels of silk curtains will bring you into the dream world. 

ROYAL THALUI
Thali is a large plate of silver, gold or another metal. In ancient times, when the royal families sat down for their meals, all the authentic dishes were presented in various katori's in Thali. Dishes were served by Raj Hakims, royal family doctor, who kept an eye on the health aspects of the dishes. These dishes were used to be cooked by specially trained Khaansamas (cooks) trained to cook food for the royal family.

THE KEBAB SHOP
The Mogulls have re-entered, but this time they are royal cooks who have invited all the way from Lucknow to pamper the taste buds of the kings. Imported wines and champagne were served to the nobles and rich in formal occasions.
