WELCOME
Built in the late 18th century, the Jhalamand Garh is located on the outskirts of Jodhpur on the Udaipur-Ahmedabad highway, surrounded by the village of Jhalamand.

The family belongs to the Sisodien clan of Mewar (Udaipur) and has been moving to Marwar (Jodhpur) since the middle of the 18th century.

They are the descendants of the famous warrior Maharana Pratap of Chittor Garh (Mewar).

The jagam of Jhalamand was given to Thakur Gambhir Singhji Sahib for outstanding achievements to the Jodhpur state.

 HORSE / JEEP SAFARI
Village Safari offers great outdoor adventures and a taste of Bishnoi villages. Village Safari / Jeep Safari is a half-day trip through the desert. The famous Guda Bishnoi Lake is just a 15-minute drive from the hotel.

It is a wild life sanctuary and is filled with Blackbucks, Chinkaras, Bluebulls, Deserts, Hares, Partridges, Grouse and of course from September to March thousands and thousands of large Siberian Demoiselle cranes and ducks.

 ROOMS
The Castle Hotel offers 30 deluxe rooms with bath, hot and cold water. The magnificent "Darikhana" or "Diwan-E-Aam", where the rulers held darbars, is now used as a lobby. The lush green lawns are a very welcome place in this otherwise dry region.
