History
Schlosshotel Gaußig Extending over some 75 acres, nestled in beautiful natural surroundings and bordered by the Grosse Picho hill to the south, lies one of Upper Lusatia’s largest landscape parks. Gaussig House, the orangery, the church and vicarage, and the estate form the centre of Gaussig village. A manor house at Gaussig was first mentioned in 1245. Major General and Colonel Rudolph von Neitschütz received Gaussig as a fief in 1696, and around 1700 he and his wife, Ursula, had Gaussig House built in the Baroque style.

The historical rooms on the ground floor of the house provide an ideal setting for events, conferences and festivities of all kinds.
Hall of Mirrors:
Furnished in the neo-classical style in 1800, this magnificent period room features a terrace looking out over the park, French windows opposite large mirrors and lovely decorative painting and stucco work that are certain to charm your guests. The room can accommodate a variety of seating arrangements, including conference seating (90 people), long-table seating (40 people) and round-table seating (60 people).
