History
Cecilienhof was the last castle built by the House of Hohenzollern. The castle grounds are picturesquely nestled in the "Neuer Garten" park landscape close to the "Jungfernsee" lake.
It was erected between 1914 and 1917 in accordance to the wishes of the Emperor´s son Wilhelm of Prussia and Princess Cecilie in the half-timbered style of an English country manor.- Cecilienhof gained world recognition when the site was chosen for the negotiations of the victorious allies in the summer of 1945. Truman, Churchill and Stalin negotiated the "Potsdam Agreement" right here. The historic conference rooms and private chambers of the royal couple are open for visitors in the museum of the castle.

Restaurant
The elegant castle restaurant is open throughout the day and offers a modern varied menu with regional and international cuisine. Our Executive chef, Robert Tank, and his team offer modern Brandenburgian cuisine with French influence. In the spring and summer months the unique restaurant terrace invites you to dine alfresco and enjoy the magnificent view into the castle garden - during the winter time an open fire spreads a cosy atmosphere.

Wellness
Our castle hotel offers the special service of a holistic health and wellness concept.
The naturopath and Ayurveda therapist Martin Wohnlich and his team offer Ayurveda treatments, yoga sessions and Nordic-Walking courses in the park "Neuer Garten”. This comprehensive natural healing programme can be adapted to your special needs and requirements.
