DESCRIPTION
Lost in the green Vezzeno valley, on a spur of green serpentine, at the summit of the stream. It has an irregular plant and is an extraordinary example of art of fortification. Its "Fairytale Park" for children is set in the surrounding wood and near the Museo della Rosa Nascente. Suggestive feasts for the adults inside the Castle's Taverna Medievale.

Its origins are around VIII century and it has been propoerty of Fulgosi, Pallavicino, Sforza, Campofregoso, Attendolo and Gibelli.

Fairy Tales Park
Knights and ladies were the real stars who have made the history of this place. But those who lived around the castle? They lived the farmers and loggers and their families; very often they lived in huts in the forest, where their poor life was hidden from the eyes of Castellano, who lived well, happy and without the possible troubles caused dall'altrui misery. 

And the forest, dense and mysterious, it was a place where few dare to venture brave, because you could meet fairies, goblins, elves ...; and then there was the Tree Man and perhaps the Animal Man, and the Ogre; and there were some witches and wizards, in constant search of grass for their potions ... a walk in an enchanted world was equal to a thousand years ago ... A magical and unforgettable experience for adults and children 

 The Fairy-Tale Park is the first emotional park in Italy, where you can enjoy a magical experience out of time, immersed in a natural setting of ancient rocks and old trees. Accompanied by a guide along the way, the boys will be involved by characters imaginary fairytale, whose roots lie in the fact that you lost in the remote the mists of time. The boys also live a fantastic and exciting adventure along with the characters of the forest! 

Murder Mystery Dinner 
Count Guglielmo organizes a banquet. Among the guests there are the sister of the Count, madonna Amalasunta, a young and frivolous heiress named Elizabeth, the guardian of her father Anselmo - a monaco unorthodox belonging to the Inquisition and the alchemist Mastro Giovanni da Volterra. During dinner contrasts emerge and meander envy and rivalry until ..  

 
Sleep 
Among the most exciting experiences that you can do to Gropparello Castle is to sleep in the Tower suspended between the drawbridge and the central courtyard! Each according to his mood may feel Knight or Lady in the Tower of the Castle, or soldier on guard to defend the fief from the assaults of the enemy, or pilgrim traveling guest of Castellani, or Ghost Busters with a passion for nature!
