Castle Howard is a magnificent 18th-century residence set within 1,000 acres of breathtaking landscape in the Howardian Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Designed by Sir John Vanbrugh for the 3rd Earl of Carlisle 300 years ago, today it is home to the Hon. Simon and Mrs. Howard and their children Merlin and Octavia.
