Elegant and spacious luxurious spa hotel Villa Astra was built in the period (1903-1905) by the master-builder Attilio Maguolo and is a perfect example of early 20th century Venetian Gothic.

Villa Astra is set well back from the main Opatija road. The hotel is surrounded by lush, green gardens and has a direct access to the beautiful Lovran seaside promenade (or lungomare), 5 minutes walk from the centre of Lovran.
